oh my god... i just finished it. it is really good. in my opinion, better than the first (The Golden Compass). what a clif-hanger ending tho!!! now i must read the last one. i will start my other book today, "Speaker For The Dead". it promises to be very interesting. bye to all who care to read.

wow! that was quick lol..... i LOVED the second one. but the third one is very good as well. and i can't for the life of me remember where it ends..... hmmm... u must tell me...... lol
btw i was talking to my grandfather about the first in the series, and he seemed to have a very low opinion of it. i disdain that though, becuase i loved it. he's an english prof tho, so he does have a bit of a say.....
