nascar continued

now i have been thinking about this particular topic and i have decided that i would like to elaborate on it a bit. now my step-father watches nascar so maby that makes me biased. but what i have observed is this; now i was saying earlier about the cars going around and around on the track. now i have seen that he will watch this, without blinking no less!!! however, i have also observed that he falls asleep about half an hour in. snores so loud u can hear it from the other end of the house. but if you go to change the channel he somehow will know. "what are you doing?" he will ask. "changing the channel" i will say. "i'm watching this!" he will say. now me not being big on confrontation, i will walk away and leave it at that. and then, i swear not 10 mins later, his snores will shake the house yet again. now i have also noticed that he will somehow kno if there is a crash. he will wake up cursing or laughing, depending of course, on who was involved in the crash. now the last 10 or 15 laps are the best part of this show. he will pase back and forth between the kitchen and living room. laughing and willing his guy forward. *note there are no woman drivers that i have seen. and then when it is finally all over it will be concluded (or so one would think) with more cursing or laughing, depending of course, on who has won. now one would be led to believe that this would be the end of it. ha! not so. you see, after each race, there is an "after race show". yes, the torture was not enough, they had to have an after show. this will usually be 2 to 3 hours in length. now this all occurs on a Sunday afternoon. and if he should somehow miss the race (heaven forbid) he will ask my mom to TAPE IT FOR HIM!!!! and of course she can't simply tell him who won. he must watch the whole thing, which he sleeps through most of anyways! well, that is my opinion on the issue. pls let me kno any comments you may have. bye to one and all who care to read.
